I love Montessori schools, except for the price. LOL We homschool, but the Montessori is one of the methods that inspired me. As well as Waldorf.

Teaching them signs is so fun! My oldest took off with them, which I think accounts for his huge vocab now. My second wasn't as interested in learning them, but he has his own way of comunicating. LOL

I love Montessori schools also, and we are going to look into Montessori daycare/preschools at the very least when the Pumpkin is ready for daycare.

Good luck!

I keep a Montessori-type theme to my homeschooling methods. My Monkeys are 9,6,3,1 & one on the way.
We tried public school, but, sadly, for boys, it wasn't the best fit.
I'm a bit more loosey-goosey.

Love your blog!
Welcome to our CLIQ!

I love the idea of Montessori. My husband went to some when he was little and he liked it.

I do not, however, love the tuition payments.

We are lucky to have a Montessori-type environment at our public school. It is awesome. They just absorb so much when it's presented in the right way.
