I was all prepared to write this really great update that my daycare situation had been solved and I was so happy but now not so much. My daycare provider’s (DP) brother-in-law offered her his home to use for her daycare. She hadn’t really even considered that but I talked through it with her yesterday and she decided to investigate his set up. Turns out it is pretty good and would be a good temporary solution until then can move and she can set up in a new place.

So, she called me last night to tell me the news and I was so happy. When dropping Boog off this morning the bubble was burst somewhat. Seems that one of the other mothers has now decided that she can quit her job and start keeping children and it seems she poaching DP’s kids. Originally this mom had said that she would go with DP if she decided to use her brother-in-law’s place but now she’s not so sure. I’m thinking that she’s gotten a couple of the kids interested and maybe she’s decided she can just take DP’s kids and open her own business. I told DP that I would call her and investigate by acting like I was interested in her keeping Boog if she wanted me to. So it’s still all f#*%ed up and not settled. Ugh.
